The normal cover looks like a generic b-grade action movie poster or direct to video cover in my opinion - possibly even worse.
Although it doesn't help with all those logos and ratings crap taking up 1/3 of the cover.
They should have used that back cover image from the tin box.

Awesome. Just finished up a Warzone match then. So much fun. I couldn't seem to get into a game yesterday, getting a bunch of network disconnected errors, so I went through most of the single player instead which is amazing on its own. Online multiplayer is where this is at though, plays fantastically and looks every bit as good as single player.

also i played online with this for about 30 mins before....gotta say i'm not as impressed as i was hoping.

i mean no lag every game is freakon boner inducing but the weight issue that i said i got used to in the single player.......
well i REALLY struggled with in the multiplayer.

i mean i finished with above 1 k/d ratio (which still felt terrible) but it just felt super, super slow.
for the record the gametype i played was only bodycount and assassination and it was over far too quickly (i think i played 6 games in 30 mins...)
warzone goes for about 20-25mins is that correct??

for me it is just FAR too slow...
those levels are very impressive but it will take along time for anybody to remember the layout...i know i found myself thinking "am i even going in the right direction?"

i will still play it again and give it a good 5 hours minimum in multiplayer but if i'm still feeling the same about it i guess i will be biding my time til modern warfare 2.....**sighs**

That's awesome, didn't even know that was an available feature(I knew about the Killzone.com integration, just not to this extent), will be really cool to track yourself during a match and see how you move and play, will be awesome for the objective challenges too.

Too bad you won't be getting it this weekend too, but no doubt once you do we can finally start up a proper clan match.

Give it a fair go Camo, you really have to remember that not every game is like COD4, not every game is as perfectly smooth as it, and IMO you have probably played it too much to really adjust properly to anyother online FPS(That's why QoS was easier for you, as it was the same engine).

I can't quite understand how you say you were used to the weight and movement but it's too slow, I actually believe online is a bit quicker isn't it?

Levels always take a bit of a while to get used to, that's really why the bots are available in offline, so you can get used to them a bit before going into the full combat arena.

And even if you don't 'get into it' as much as you want, you still have to play it with us, that is where the best moments could come, it will be hilarious regardless of whether your good at the game or not.

that's why i'm going to give it plenty of time because i still think it's a simply brilliant game.
the clunky feel i'm sure i'll be able to get used to but with 2 people against you it's near impossible to take them both out because the speed doesn't allow you to move from one to the other like you should in a game where those situations are quite a regular occurrence.
whereas resistance 2...it's the amount of ammo required to kill them that was the main problem

it felt exactly the same to me in terms of movement.
but single player is a whole different kettle of fish to MP and just jumping into it felt strange...even though yesterday it felt normal...

Went pretty hard at the multiplayer today, totally loving it... the handling is totally diffrent to CoD4 but still amazing in different ways.

It took me a couple of games to get used to the aiming and general heaviness of the player but once u do its defintly worth it.

And warzone games do end up going for about 25 mins or so, split up over 5 different game modes which so far my fave would have to be assassination.

Up to rank 6 atm, unlocked the SMG and LMG but my favourite thing so far would have to be being a medic, gotta love being there at the right time to help a falling comrade

but i gotta say this is one of the best fps ever, ive only completed bout 15% on SP which is still brilliant, but man the MP is awesome i thought cod waw is good and cod4 .

u may still not get as many kills but who the **** cares,

and by typing it, i don't have to strain my voice (i have a cold atm) and piss people off who have to listen....

on here everyone can skip right by me as i'm sure is a regular occurrence

also i havn't complained about any of the single player campaigns......they were all amazing.

the high standards of multiplayer are cod4 which by now i'm sure EVERYBODY knows about...and it'll be tough for any game to beat that multiplayer for me...i don't expect the same thing especially from a different series altogether but i do enjoy smoothness in control which as it stands i'm not really feeling (as a n00b)

i only played about 30 mins of a short duddy gametype.
i aint forming a complete opinion until i get a full grasp for it and unlock a few badges and the SMG which is incredible up close which is my style
i'll be giving the MP a red hot go tomoz arvo to get a bit more used to it and try rank up a lil

i was more just giving my first multiplayer impressions. (since this forum has seemed a bit dead beside hbk bashing lately.)
i'm much more looking forward to trying warzone but every time i tried to join one it said my rank wasn't high enough.

The one thing Killzone 2 SHITS on COD4 with, is the ability to choose which region you want to play in, eliminates lag and you will rarely get the obnoxious Yanks(I figure some might join the Aus servers).
