Coach Matthew Egan- what does he do?

I know people's focus is probably elsewhere and this is partly why I'm creating this. It's something else to think about at least.

What does he do for the rest of the season?

Is he a chance to be looked at for the senior job and will he coach accordingly for these games.

Will he change up anything or is he a pure stop gap?

Those sort of questions...

I think he should panic now, get that out of the way. Then he can spend his time focusing on everything else.

Really I think just give guys like Pears, Browne, Kav the rest of the season. Wouldn't be opposed to Melksham, NOB and Steinberg getting the same even though I'm pretty convinced they should all go. The uncontracted guys. See who's got what and who's worth keeping.

And if Carlisle really was saying "I probably won't be here next year", he shouldn't play again.

Much like the interim Carlton gig, this is a coach killer.

If guys have had enough and aren't interested in playing let them start off season early. Get surgeries started on those who need it. Put together a squad of kids and willing older guys and make sure we get through the remaining games without injuries that will carry over to the '16 preseason.

Put together prep for next season and then shut her down asap after last game.

Melksham, Steinberg, Howlett, Ambrose, keep them the hell away from our senior team.

Right now, the club is littered with mediocrity and to me the only cure is youth/new blood, at least for the short term (final three rounds).

This must be the youngest senior coach that's coached at AFL level in a while.

What do we read into the fact that he got this temporary gig over Harvey? Or Neeld? Or Craig?
