usually go to melbourne once every year for a footy trip, this year going for a boys long weekend away for the anzac round, 4 games in 4 days. love the vibe of the place and haven't noticed it to be any worse than brisbane, and it's better than sydney which i went to for the asian cup final a few years ago.

George Street and Macleay Streets in Sydney are by a furlong straight the dirtiest streets I've seen in Australia. In comparison to overseas cities, Australian cities are very clean. You also haven't seen a homeless problem unless you've been to US cities, Washington in particular.

Also, how is Graffiti dirty? FFS talk about pushing old washed up agendas.

People in Australia complaining about dirty cities; I've heard it all. Far more dirtier cities on every other continent in the world.

Canberra is a very clean city, as is Perth, or was last time I was there.
Probably because of their planned nature to a large extent as there are no great "urban scars" that you find in the older cities.

Tokyo was near spotless, especially given it's one of the largest urban agglomerations in the world.
