didnt ablett hit the post about 4 time sand kick 6 points? what is the most for these instances? is abletts effort anywhere near a record? esp from a guy that spends a bit of time in the guts.
 
I don't know if anyone has hit the post 4 times before, but 6 points in a game is nowhere near a record. Ablett's dad once kicked 14.7, and I seem to recall Allan Jakovich kicking something like 4.10

Was round 22, he went into the game sitting on 96 goals & needing 4 to bring up the century. That's the full forward's version of suffering the yips (but he did end up with the Coleman Medal).
 
Pat Bowden hit the post either 3 or 4 times earlier this year in a game at Docklands.
