Wasn't aware of that. Will need to be a ground where they can ensure everyone has to pay to get in and plenty of surrounding parking. Still not convinced it's right not to allow parking in the venue but that's an argument for another day

No matter how good the playing field is, secure fencing to allow for a paying public etc Kilmore is way too far away for the NFNL to ever consider it.

I agree have to be Whittlesea and I don’t mind Heidelberg. But the problem is there you can just walk in from a number of spots without paying and the league won’t like that. Northcote Park no chance, only thing going for it is you have to pay, that’s it!

They’ve put up temp fence before for finals.

But Heidelberg isn’t windy enough for them to even consider

The location shouldn't matter as they are apart of the league. Plenty of parking, surface in Great condition. And only 5 minutes from my house which would be handy. [emoji12]

I enjoyed the country feel but i think a final might be a stretch

West must be breathing a sigh of relief playing Reservoir this week.

Lalor has the ideal set up for finals... Plenty of parking, access, entry points, umpires away from change rooms, and location is all in favour, the grounds on the smaller side though but it works brilliantly for junior finals (with or without gate fees).

The club has hosted early D3 finals in the past when grounds were trashed, can't remember the year exactly but Parkside played someone...

The oval is in pristine condition at the moment which differs from many - I was at North Heidelberg Saturday and it was like watching a game from the 80's... Couldn't see it happening but that's the kind of set up that works.

Could have been... there maybe was another occasion even earlier than that... Its a great set up for finals
