Same conversation as always at this time of year , names thrown around here & there.. Be interesting to see who goes where & who gets who , but until locked in it's all rumours..
Believe me every club out there ATM is trying to keep & add to their lists , whilst staying within a budget. (which is $45k less than EDFL div3..ludicrous!!)

no use spruiking , but I doubt any club has been sitting on its hands since completing season 18...

Making a troll account that is believable is a pretty low act, perception can be a tricky thing to undo - This is comical and in essence, ensures we all know it isn't believable, that's friendly banter rather than underhanded sabotage.

Like the points system, this should be consistent across the metro competitions... NFNL have it about right i reckon, $135k does make it difficult for the administrators at those D3 clubs in EDFL and players/coaches expectations when weighing up options to cross the Hume Hwy/Sydney Rd.

Saw that on my FB feed. A couple sound like they’ll be handy. From what my Turtle friends at the cricket club tell me, it’s more about building numbers to be competitive.

Yep they will compete. O'neil from WPL and Debritt from avondale heights both solid recruits with consistent Div1/premier league senior experience. Will Ben Gill return to the turtle dome?

Reckon coaches mvp a lot more prestigious? Coaches get it right, umpires just guess and if u stand out from the crowd aka Tarzan then they take a punt, Where did Coulson finish in mvp, top 20 maybe? Caruso, Ronald’s, Thompson worthy of best player status, Coulson???

Looking forward to watching the Turtles and in particular Debritt play in 2019. Was good to watch at Avondale Heights before his Achilles injury. Will 100% be in the top couple to dominate div 3. Good luck Debs.

Done my research on him, the blokes I spoke to were shocked Debritt from Avondale would come to div 3 Nfnfl - They said he would be the winx of the comp, if he plays every match should win league and club b&f easily.

Other recruits they (Eltham Turtles FC) have signed more or less just reserves players at their respective clubs.

They did gain momentum and beat some handy sides however, think this season they will be 4th-5th-6th
