Give me the answer. Im on the edge of my seat waiting for it
Oh boy...

Here is Daicos' CV over the last 3 seasons:
Players MVP - 2nd, 4th, 1st
Brownlow - 3rd, 2nd, 2nd
Coaches Award - 3rd, 1st, 4th
3 x All Australians
Club B&F - 2nd, 1st, 2nd
Premiership

Now for Cripps:
Players MVP - ???, 2nd, ???
Brownlow - eq. 9th, 1st, 18th
Coaches Award - 20th, 2nd, outside top 20
1 x All Australian
Club B&F - 5th, 1st, 5th

I rated Cripps marginally better than Daicos in 2024, but Cripps would have been outside the top 30 players in the comp based on season output in both 2023 and 2025.

I'm honestly not seeing a hell of a lot of difference here.

Your talking individually so a premiership doesn't really come into it. Ty Gallop won a premiership a couple of weeks ago.

Brownlow no one remembers who comes 2nd or 3rd (Unless your coach sooks about it), and both have won a single best and fairest in that timeframe.

Not a heap between them, hence my comment "throw a blanket over them"

Both miles behind Bont anyway.

Yeah, there's no difference in season output whether you come 2nd or 3rd in a Brownlow compared to 200th or 300th, because 'noone remembers it'....

Oh boy.

Based on your analysis, how many Brownlows has Bont won?

No brownlows but that's the same as Nick, yet Bont has won 3 x the AFL MVPs Nick has.

Youve lost the argument with Cripps vs Daicos so you sure as hell arent winning a Bont vs Daicos argument haha

Who has received the most brownlow votes over the past 95 home and away rounds of AFL football - asking for a friend
LOLOLOL.

So it's '95 home and away rounds', so you need to include Daicos' rookie year, in addition to some games from before Daicos even debuted, to get Cripps over the line (and only just)...

OMFG.

How on earth have I 'lost' the argument about Cripps and Daicos, when I've completely owned you with basic data?

But you haven't though. You've pointed out, that I rightly said you can throw a blanket over them.

There is nothing you have stated here that puts Nick in front of Cripps within the outlined timeframe.

Daicos is probably one of my favorite non-Carlton players to watch & I actually do think he’s the best player in the comp.

But reading Fadges shit, and listening to McRae trying to adopt him as a grandson, genuinely makes me hate the little slick-haired, handsome weasel.

Between the two of them, they have managed to generate an ironic smear campaign. They’re like reverse-PR agents or something. Just stop.

Do you understand the context in which I was asking? Or do you think you’ve won a gotcha moment because you feel you answered a question that you deemed obvious without knowing or understanding the context?

Sorry if it’s too confusing for you.
I do get confused when people ask a question of someone who actually provided the answer 36 minutes earlier... short memory?

Am I talking to 3 year olds?
In the context of on the field. Clearly Cripps has a high output as well based on metrics he is measured by. As does Daicos. You’re arguing Daicos has a higher output. I am asking you to prove it or explain what output means, because all players have output. Saying the word ‘output’ isn’t proving a thing.

I mean most people would whisper saying it’s nick Daicos.

2nd 3rd and 3rd in the Brownlow at 21, flag , 3 all aus, b&f. Just look at him around tex walkers son, Collingwood open training, interviews lmao.

name one public statement he had said thata arrogant

"I should have won the brownlow, I was statistically 57764578855677 1.21 gigawatt possessions ahead of my nearest rival. The brownlow is less credible without me being crowned the winner"

Good assessment of Cripps, to which I agree fully.

Buy he has had nowhere near the output of Daicos since the start of 2023, which was my point.
Every single AFL player has output. Output in a football sense is statistics attributed to a player or actions on a field defined by metrics.

You say he hasn’t had the same level of output. I am asking you to define the output in which is measurable by both Cripps and Daicos. Daicos produces X, Cripps produces Y. Once we establish what they have done you can then begin to measure them according to benchmarks.

Personally I think Cripps has it harder and is better as he can win contested ball, runs harder, gets to more contests, drives his team from a competitive sense, can kick goals and gets and has gotten attention from opposition for a long time yet continues to perform.
