Piss off you boring, tired, ****posting pessimists. It was a sensational game between the reigning premiers and a team not expected to win 10 games. We took it up to them and showed that we are capable of truly awesome footy. Yeah our skill level was shocking, but seeing Ziebell and Higgins flying through massive packs at the footy, I don't think I've seen us play with more heart than we did this afternoon. If certain posters plan on only taking the negatives out of every single game we play through this reset and posting incessantly about the same old ***, I for one will simply stop contributing and reading this board. Get a ****ing grip.

I'm going to follow on from this because I see it as a fundamental issue on this board.
Reasonable debate is stifled by a heap of chicken little whingers who spew bile on repeat with little to no regard for others.

Nobody wants to read a half sentence on how one player (and/or the coach) is shit, and those posting the same crap in every thread regardless of topic is cringeworthy.

Crap posting is HEAVILY diluting the quality on this board, and hence makes following threads a time consuming activity with no greater payback. Using the ignore function puts all the onus onto the victim, it makes the board "opt out" with a lot of effort.

Would be great to have a section of the board that is "opt in", for people who post quality. Invite only, mods control. maybe keep it to a changes and post game threads.

Yeah it was incredible. My 9 yr old daughter, who is as good natured a supporter as you could imagine, collapsed in a screaming heap after it.

As did her brother, sister and father.

Was so obviously an attempt to knock the ball to advantage.

Where do you think we will finish? We will certainly be bottom 3, and I can see us maybe winning 3 or 4 games at most this year. That should be enough to perhaps be 18th depending on % and we have a history of crap %

So given we have just played 4 teams likely in the top 6, I reckon we could finish anywhere below 5th

That said, I think the early losses has given the coaching staff licence to start playing some kids.

Preuss has done an excellent job with the chance he's been given.

Right now Daw is a better footballer than Preuss and better for team balance.

That might change in a year or two.

All round, great game guys. I don't think north are as bad as what people think. Certainly doing better than what others predicted.

Umpiring was shit around the whole game. Sat next to few north supporters and they were fantastic. We all ended up.laughing together and agreed was such a good 2nd half

unfortunatly for us the team have a bit of a loser mentality and seem to be able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Hopefully they can turn it around but working on things mentally can be more of a challenge then physical things (just ask lindsey thomas or travis cloke kicking for goals). Cant fault the effort though but effort alone doesnt get you the 4 points!

This hasn't been mentioned but i feel i need to say it. Tarrant ****ing annoyed me in the second half today. the bloke though he'd try and be a hero and attempt to be bloody superman when he flew needlessly for screamers in the backline at crucial stages and dropped all 4 attempts that i counted. there was one in the last quarter that killed us. You can't damn afford to do that.. communicate with teammates... one or two blokes are supposed to fly the rest STAY DOWN AND MAN UP ON THE CRUMERS.
