Seems you're just looking for validation of your own viewpoints, which perhaps isn't everyone's idea of a message board. However, many do seem to think that's what a message board is about.
So instead of engaging in meaningful, critical debate, you just want some sort of echo chamber thread where everybody waxes lyrical over Scott and the club direction and any dissenting opinion is immediately censored?
I admit that there were some garbage posts, from myself included, in the emotional aftermath of a match that was particularly heated, but I put that down to people expressing their passion and despair over the result without the use of a filter. I agree, however, that some of those posts are in bad taste if they're made in the proceeding days.
There are many people who have posted excellently, with compelling arguments, about their concerns over the direction of the club and the list in the medium and long term under Brad. It seems though that lately around here there has been an increase in the amount of people critcising these people for having these perfectly valid opinions. Just because people hold these opinions it doesn't mean that they are embarrassing or not adding to the quality of the debate.
Seems the only time they admit a mistake is when north gets a 50/50. I can hardly recall any time they admit an error when it costs north.Delusion at AFL house continues with the AFL claiming that the ruck free was the correct decision...before they said visual cues were the method of communicating but now the goal posts have changed again with audio cues...

Doesn't suit their narrative. Looks to me that Dunkley has nominated then Bobtempelli is infringing the ruck contest first. But some ****wit at headquarters doesn't want to admit that it was a **** up of a **** up of a rule.Seems the only time they admit a mistake is when north gets a 50/50. But even if they have allowed an "audio" nomination as they say happened last night, then the first free is against bontempelli for competing in the ruck. The only free that could have been payed was a free to Goldie.
Anyone should be able to contest the ruck, but if you have 2 from the same team contest it should be a free against...
Is it that hard?
That's fine but given they also pay frees for blocking they've backed themselves into a corner. How do you know if a ruckman is getting blocked if you don't know who the ruckman is?
Was the umpire watching the ruck contest? if he was watching the contest he would have seen 'The Bont' was also rucking, who in turn should have been penalised for being 'Third man up'! specially when the umpire stated that he already knew who the nominated ruck men were,Anyone should be able to contest the ruck, but if you have 2 from the same team contest it should be a free against...

Th AFL might claim that ruck decision was correct, but ffs this is supposedly a professional sport. If the players from both sides, coaches, supporters, commentators and media don't know what going on you've clearly got a pretty significant problem.
He was watching. He couldn't miss Bontempellis arm in the air. It was directly in front of him.Was the umpire watching the ruck contest? if he was watching the contest he would have seen 'The Bont' was also rucking, who in turn should have been penalised for being 'Third man up'! specially when the umpire stated that he already knew who the nominated ruck men were,
-The AFL's decision in relation to something that is clearly and obviously a wrong umpire decision now really highlights how much we can believe and rely upon from the AFL in relation to any future decision making across the board.I don't understand why the afl refuse to come out and say the umpire got it wrong. It socks but I can live with a human error. But defending wrong or iffy decisions really is off putting and unfair on the footy loving public.
Fake account
people here post rubbish.
was convinced we were ten goals down by the comments, only to find that suddenly we were in front and had won
Can't go on too much about the skill errors, everyone has good days and bad days. Can't question our effort, a couple of lucky bounces or more accurate kicking and we would have buried them.
Gibbo was strong in the contest, showed a bit of leadership out there.
Thommo was aggressive in the right way.
Backs played pretty well as a unit
Love watching Preussy lay a tackle, hope he hits a few more in the coming year.
A few things that we do have control over:
Atley - Fkin run! See the bulldogs half backs get on their bikes and get it into their fifty as quick as they could. Back-ward handpassing was infuriating, especially when he has speed.
Centre Clearances - Kingy has it spot on (hate to say that) we just plod around the centre and have no coverage for the quick break. Rotate Turner, Simpkin and LT on the back of the square at centre bounces. They are quick, agile and tough and can stick a tackle. And if it spills forward they all think quick and lose their opponent in the traffic.
If you had read my post with a level of comprehension you would have come across this in the first line "It isn't that I only want to hear good stuff about the club".
In light of that news, I'm expecting 10 campaigners to put their hand up for ruck in rest of games this weekend, while one quietly tells the ump he's the ruckman. Thus guaranteeing a free kick for their team. Farcical.
