Surely even If Dangerfield was going to walk out at the end of the season, it would've been better for The Crows to make him captain, their entire season now is going to be hijacked by innuendo that Dangerfield is now 100 % leaving (which is what a few AFL journos are saying on twitter)

Also Tex might be a larrikan and one of 'The boys' but that hardly makes him leadership material, some of his tweets on twitter (esp sexist ones directed at Caro) leave a lot to be desired, hardly a decent role model for Crows kids to aspire to.
