We were missing 3 of our 4 best midfielders and missing one of our most experienced defenders. The difference for Port this game is Geelong are winning it in midfield and Dixon isn't getting the cheap free kicks as the likes of Taylor know how to discreetly use their body whereas Balta is less discreet at this stage of his career.

One thing that the Cats do really well that we just haven't been doing well is sticking their tackles. They have hardly missed one tackle tonight. Just puts the opposition under so much pressure. Port must have broken 20 tackles alone in the 1st quarter last week. Its something that at our best we have been good at but it's definitely a feature of our game that's gone missing recently.
