These are 2 very Interesting because there not that High at 46 and 47 but They can bring us some very Interesting Players.

I would reckon 1 of the 2 Picks will be a Ruck or KPB. Like For Example:
Roughead,Renton,Clarke,Post,Gaertner and Redden

The Other Pick will be a taking a Flyer on someone Hine thinks has a High Potental who not has a lot of Hype.

Your Thoughts

I reckon hine always pulls out the unexpexcted,i reckon he'll go kpp on our first round pick and what ever midfielders are left on our second and third rounds.
Always expect the unexpected with Hine.

I very much doubt he'll pick say a sam blease or sidebottonm first up.He'll go for what he believers to be the best available player at pick 11 and not worry about our needs first up.

I think that hine values kpp players more than midfielders.

If we go for a KPP with pick 11 I'll be shattered. It's time to address our needs. We have plenty of young key position players. We need to draft at least three real midfielders in this draft, and maybe a key defender or ruckman.

I agree 100%.I hope he does address our needs first up.
But i worry that he'll just pick what he believes will be the best available player first up.Remember the 2006 draft,he picked ben reid (8),Nathan Brown (10),Chris Dawes (31) and went for Brad Dick (pick 40 something) and Goldsac (63), not at all what i was suspecting back then ,we still had the same p[roblem then as we do now,we need class MIDFIELDERS.

If you look back on that draft, although we still had the need for midfielder, a large percentage of our de-listings were talls. And Hine addressed that.

This year apart from Wakelin all de-listings have really been running and midfield players. Hopefully that's a sign we'll bring a few in,

that looks like it might have been a good draft for us, all show promise,
what midfielder were we supposed to pick early, armitage was available, thank god we didn't looks just another meh footballer to me. Straight from Hines mouth we rated gibbs, boak and selwood, all gone by pick 8. We did the right thing, refreshed our KPP talent.

Reckon Hine is pretty on the ball. It looks like a good midfielder draft to me with a lot available around the 2nd and 3rd round that look like pretty solid players.

If a mid that Hine rates is available at 11 then I think he will take him and take a KP back or ruck in the 3rd round.

If there isn't one there he rates, don't be shocked when he goes KP at 11. As stated above, he did that in the 2006 draft.

If the last couple of drafts prove anything it is that we never really know what Hine is going to do except for drafting Victorians as TRS's research demonstrates.

I could easily see him taking someone like Trengrove or McKernan or Lisle at Pick 11 and Then going Mid after than

Tengrove or Lisle perhaps but I am not sure on McKernan. You'd have to be sure he could play ruck at AFL level.

Then again, with the 4 boundary umps coming in I think we might see a return of the smaller more mobile ruckmen.
