What do you all think about players playing with Skins & Line Break etc..
I know they play with them under there clothing, but do you all think in years to come they will be able to play with the full legging type????
I think in years to come you will be able, it will be good for the player if they can & want to, help prevent injury and when its wet and cold it will keep them warm..

I played a game last year (just amateur school footy) with them on, and coming into the game I thought they wouldn't make a rats different. I was wrong. They really keep you calves and hammies pretty warm, and I felt less soreness after the game than I usually would. I'm pretty sure that we'll never see AFL players playing games in them as it would be against the tradition of the game...

i really hope it'd never happens. would be just another step of afl getting closer to becoming soccer. though it seems, thats what the afl wants...

Yep - absolutely, it's going to happen. Not only for the warmth, there's the improved venous and lymph return and, as with the new swimming super suits, they are building in some core stabilising as well (why don't they call it a corset?. Cos that's what it is)

In the future they'll be wearing a rollerball style, full body lycra suit with strategically placed gel pads for cushioning etc.

I think if it helps the player tp prevent injury, why not!!! And the AFL & Clubs will get $$$$ out of it if they do

aren't skins famous for never paying athletes of sporting organisations to wear their gear? Players wear it because its good not because they are being paid to so I can't see the AFL allowing it since they won't make a $ out of it.

So was rewarding the guy going for the ball. but they took that out of the game.
