Changing my mind.
I wouldn't trust them away against Brisbane or the Pies but it looks like they'll most likely only have to worry about it on GF day.
They wouldn't start favourites against the Pies at the G (obvs) but in a one off game, who knows? Should GF at a minimum from here.

Port can get beat Collingwood. Both sides been around the mark of finals and being PF status with hiccups etc. It really comes down to whether they get spooked on GF day.

Brisbane are pretenders.
They are, but I wouldn't tip too many teams to beat them at the Gabba. Since Port are likely to finish top 2 that's not an issue.

True. Brisbane may fall into the top 4 but they won’t win week one. If Melbourne keeps losing then the make up of the 4 becomes interesting.
They're really fun to watch. Butters and Rozee exciting Port fans like Cotchin and Dusty excited us Tiger fans a decade ago - some real similarities between them respectively.
No chance of winning the flag this year unfortunately - there's a team clearly better than them. I'd be giving them every chance of a flag (or two) between 2024-28 though.

There was a team clearly better than Hawthorn in 2008, there was a team clearly better than West Coast in 2018, there were several teams clearly better than the Bulldogs in 2016. All it takes is one upset.
You look at how Brisbane (supposedly their only rival for 'best interstate side' atm) are absolute pussycats away from home....it just emphasises how impressive Port's away wins have been.

Your backline is still suspect in finals and Marshall, Dixon, Finlayson are enough to really test out a slightly undersized defense.
Port also have a very similar midfield.
Both sides pretty even right now.

Alright, FA chance.
Really hope I'm wrong though, it'd be a fun flag to watch if Port went all the way. I thought we were shoe-ins in 2018.
