Our games are at night, so we shouldn’t have too. The airport curfew may also prevent that from being a possibility also.I hope the AFL don't expect us to fly up, play, then fly home on the same day during the 'Olympic' scheduling block.

Correct. There's no way we'd be able to return on the same day from Brisbane night games with the Adelaide Airport curfew. Our games are at night, so we shouldn’t have too. The airport curfew may also prevent that from being a possibility also.
Good to see they've been called for once, and at a crows makes it even better.
Scum
Being up in arms is also part of their identity. Were the Italians up in arms over their teams defensive attitudes?
On the contrary, it’s practically their national identity.

He has his Adelaide midfielder, why would he want the ineffective one? That's his preferred destination apparently but 12 months on I doubt S. Dew has the same interest.
The trouble for the Crows is that Crouch's value drops each week he plays. He's such a vanilla midfielder.
So Adelaide Oval capacity revised down to 20,000 due to Covid concerns after Monday's game.
Great stuff.![]()

Quick random question, are Saints a bit of a joke in the AFL? I was reading up about our next opponents and I mean, 1 flag in a century and a half of existence, back in a time of black and white pictures, plus one thousand wooden spoons, more than double the second club in that regard. Why are they such a big failure? lol

I totally disagree. Of course they're going to talk about the game. But does it take game of the year to talk about the ladder leaders? And they raved about the game but move on pretty quickly. Our players are not household names here and when they are performing well should get the credit they deserve. For the players' financial futures the afl needs to move beyond the expanded VFL conceptThink about it, these shows are all about the back stories, the politics, the controversies. Its what their audiences lap up. So "Ladder leader beats team placed placed well below it ... News at 7" Not really!
However the manner of the weekend's win was significant. AFL360 raved about it, as did AFL Tonight (July 22 - See Nick Delsanto interview)
Overall there was a lot of good press & media over this win. In fairness too, Carlon have been playing well, and almost sneaking that win was, or would have been, a big story in Melbourne.
Why would GC even want Brad Crouch now anyway he'd just get in the way
They won't. Apart from the fact he's not worth anything near what he thinks he is, Gold Coast will need all the salary cap space to retain their young talent.
The only hope the Crows have got I think as Tribey pointed out earlier is for somebody like Norf, who can't ever seem to land top end talent, pay massive overs for him because they are the only suitors because they are a sh*t can club.
St Nicola got spooked by the crush at the exit turnstiles halfway through the last quarter.I'm obviously missing something here because I can't work out how having 13K people in Adelaide Oval made the Transition Committee realise that the capacity needed to be reduced from 25K to 20K.
