Correct. There's no way we'd be able to return on the same day from Brisbane night games with the Adelaide Airport curfew.

They have been more proactive lately, but they historically have used youth soccer and/or fringe leagues or tournaments to test rule changes. No rule changes in the middle of a tournament. Usually, they get more right than wrong.

There are differences of interpretation between countries and between referees. I still want to kill some SoB carrying whistles, but that happens in all sports.

I'm obviously missing something here because I can't work out how having 13K people in Adelaide Oval made the Transition Committee realise that the capacity needed to be reduced from 25K to 20K.

I was reading up about our next opponents and I mean, 1 flag in a century and a half of existence, back in a time of black and white pictures, plus one thousand wooden spoons, more than double the second club in that regard. Why are they such a big failure? lol

Short answer yes.

26 spoons is a lot. 1 GF win that they won by a point in the 60s. Have lost a few though. AFL era they've lost 3.

I don't mind the Saints though, of the 4 scrubber Melbourne teams, they have the most personality for want of a better word.

Think about it, these shows are all about the back stories, the politics, the controversies. Its what their audiences lap up. So "Ladder leader beats team placed placed well below it ... News at 7" Not really!

However the manner of the weekend's win was significant. AFL360 raved about it, as did AFL Tonight (July 22 - See Nick Delsanto interview)

Overall there was a lot of good press & media over this win. In fairness too, Carlon have been playing well, and almost sneaking that win was, or would have been, a big story in Melbourne.

I totally disagree. Of course they're going to talk about the game. But does it take game of the year to talk about the ladder leaders? And they raved about the game but move on pretty quickly. Our players are not household names here and when they are performing well should get the credit they deserve. For the players' financial futures the afl needs to move beyond the expanded VFL concept

The only hope the Crows have got I think as Tribey pointed out earlier is for somebody like Norf, who can't ever seem to land top end talent, pay massive overs for him because they are the only suitors because they are a shit can club.

Essendon still don't have anyone to do the grunt work in their midfield. I could see them taking a crouch, though I think they already traded this year's first rounder

The size of the chips at AO has been attacked by Crows fans and changes will be made. Using the Cows as guinea pigs has been worthwhile.

Looks like the SMA didn't pay enough attention to the effects of their COVID-19 plan. Someone should have realised that if you have to close lids on containers you will get less chips. Maybe they did realise but tried it on anyway.

Good luck with the queues on Saturday. If they enforce a 1.5 metre distancing rule they could be quite long.
