Suns are all over Hawthorn but reckon the lack of spectator support really hurts them in terms of key umpiring decisions no matter where they play.

Hawthorn player drops the ball as soon as Chol tackles him in the Suns forward 50 and Hawks awarded a free kick for hanging on - no complaints from crowd.
 
For all the controversy about the Richmond - Sydney game, the bit that sticks out is Hardwick's comment.

"Mills, their seventh, probably generated a little bit of income for them, and we probably didn't use the ball as well as we would have liked in that situation. And that's on us as coaches to prepare the players a little bit better in that situation," Hardwick said.

Can anyone imagine Ken saying anything like that?

Look those boys just didn't work hardery enough. I am a good coach and totally know what I'm doing at all times.

West coast are about as bad as any team has ever been, ever. They won a flag not all that long ago, then decided to just give up in 2020 with covid. Weird.
It seems that both Adelaide teams will have the bye next week - us with the actual bye, and the Crows are playing the Eagles.
