"Wayne Milera came off the ground in the second quarter with a serious knee injury, with the initial diagnosis being a suspected patella tendon rupture."
Was giving our midfield some much needed class, heck sakes

Don't you guys ever shitcan Obrien. He's the glue trying to hold stuff together. Goes out there and plays a good game every week. Probably doesn't get the recognition he deserves in AFL circles. He is extremely important to your side.

Gutted about Milera that hurts.

Hately some good hands in close then at the end some very bad. He'll be fine though, his big body is needed in there.
McAsey some decent marks late, just want to see him more and more settled.

ROB busting his nut as always, Keays solid, Sholl decent as always

Last years 1st against 18th - and starting to look like it. Not much fluency in our game and many players that need a year or 3 to get upto speed. Gonna be a long year.

Also way over-umpired, yuck.
New man-on-the-mark rule - yuck, yuck.

The Mackay Rule in effect

I’m sure plenty will overreact to one game, but we are not even close to the same level as a team like Port yet.
Two years away from playing Finals, four to be a contender.

Anyone expecting us to keep level with Port is kidding themselves. They will be top 4, should make the GF.

If is the cycle. That was us in 2016/17. Should have been 18 and 19 too.

So even if a player goes to handball after a mark and the player on the mark moves half a step, that’s a 50 metre penalty? Is that really needed in the game? What does it achieve?
Next, players won't be allowed to smother the ball. Give Steven Hocking time.
