Have to say I like our approach here.

KPPs taken late are a bit more of a risk, and we have acquired them through the PSD and rookie draft - we have also had a chance to look at them train over the last couple of weeks which makes me think we should be making good calls on these kids.

I do wish some of these feeder clubs would keep their websites up to date. Here's Cockshells pic from the Norwood site. As noted above there's no profile. I did find a match report where he kicked a goal from 45 metres on a tight angle.

"Port had the next pick and also decided to go for youth and a local boy in 20-year-old Adam Cockshell from Norwood in the SANFL.

Cockshell had been one of a number of players who had been training with the Power in the hope of being picked up in the draft and the 198cm youngster has the potential to play as key position player.

Cockshell played as a forward in the SANFL this season and is considered a strong mark and also quick for a player of his size."

Overall including all drafts I think the mix of players weve picked up has been excellent. I dont think anyone can really fault the mix of players weve picked up. Weve drafted for almost every position on the field. We needed KPP in the rookie drafts and we got a couple of decent rated ones plus Batsanis who a lot of people thought would go in the first few picks

Looks like a pretty good mix of players. Really topped up the KPP stocks and could really get something out of that group and Batsanis is a highly rated on-baller. Don't know anything about Hardy, but he has some interesting musical tastes.

Seems like we have picked up some good players to fill some holes we will have in the future............now we just need to get over the next 4-6 weeks as the footy news virtually disappears.

Bugga... good get guys. I rated both Cockshell and Grose. Especially Grose.

Raw as but lots of upside as a defender. I was looking at Grose as a replacement for Rutten allowing him to play more forward.

Happy with our selections, except not picking up Ezard again.

Especially happy with Batsanis. I work with his Aunty so I am aware of some of the difficulties he has faced over the last month. A stressful time.

Rather disappointed to see that we didnt redraft Jimmy. Would of loved to of seen him back in the Power colours next season.
