Just read thru posts, seems like Curtin is building nicely, Cumming not so positive

Cumming doesn't rack up big disposal numbers, often not overly flashy either but I think he goes okay including today.

When you come off a loss and go home to play the bottom side at home you really want a 4 qtr effort.

We got 1.5 qtrs but it honestly felt like a win by default type and that the Eagles capitulated pretty quickly in the third and that was it.

Pedlar getting a couple of goals might’ve been close to the only thing we get out of this match.

No injuries is always good. I was referring to that awful first half and the first part of the third quarter. We produce that kind of footy against a good side and the game is already over at half time.

Sure he kicked his goals from places where most of us could have, but he has a physical presence inside 50 that weve lacked.

Noticed a few times today that Cumming's is trying to deal with ball that's kicked to his feet or just in front .. seems to manage to "kill' the ball when hasn't a chance to do anything with it

Totally agree. Was pretty happy with him today. Something to build on.

That’s why it’s frustrating that we’re so poorly coached. A wily old bastard in the box could have us a lot closer.

At present we’re tracking to be like the pear. Downhill skiers that will get pantsed in a big final.

I think the league is going to be like this for the foreseeable future. Not enough talent for 18 (soon to be 19) teams.
