I’ve got it - Matthew has a WL % of 39.08, Murphy has a WL % of 39.66. Very similar - both losers.

Not sure Murray gets straight back in. Butts has done a great job and we seem well balanced with his shutdown mentality against Keane aggresssionI assume that Peatling is the only change for Hawthorn, which means Smith remains as sub. Not sure it's the best choice but can't see them making an unforced change on top of the likely Draper for Peatling swap. And if Smith isn't the sub we'll have issues with team balance.
So likely to be Draper for Peatling, plays a full game and Smith sub.
Murray plays SANFL and returns after the bye.

It’s all on NicksOr agree with the decision.
The photos Murphy has over him?The stupidity of this selection decision -
Over Murphy’s 116 game career he has had one game with 20+ disposals, one ****ing game.
I hear you say it is his defensive side of the game, yes a whole 3 tackles per game over his career.
Well perhaps it is his hitting the scoreboard - well he has scored 10+ goals in only one of the past 5 seasons. Barely 0.5 goal per game. ANB has exceeded Murphys goalkicking output in just 13 games this season.
What the **** does Nicks see that we can’t?
Arrogant selection.
Arrogance, as is often the way with this club, will be Nicks’ undoing.

Why are long sleeves a thing in football but long pants aren't?-2c tomorrow night ….
Which player in the SANFL is the oldest?I would genuinely like to be a fly (the fly) on the wall in the selection panel
How do they come to this decision ?? What metrics are there ?? I know we're all hanging shit on Nicks and thats fine, but he cannot be the only guy on the panel who wants Murphy in.
Hes likely going to play a role with little to no relevance of the role hes played in the SANFL.
It makes less sense than it ever has
Is that a Seinfeld joke? Why are long sleeves a thing in football but long pants aren't?
It's the most insane selection decision again to pick him.
We have Edwards, Dowling, Draper, all languishing in the SANFL while Murphy continues to be picked.
Just more proof that Nicks MUST go!!!!!
An excellent question! Why are long sleeves a thing in football but long pants aren't?
7. Kicks the ball along the groundI'm staggered that anyone can believe Murphy offers so much more than those plus others listed.
I'm putting up the chicken wire in front of the TV in readiness for the first time Murphy delivers any of the following:
1. Flies against one of our key forwards
2. Burns a team mate on a handball to instead dump kick it over the head of a leading forward.
3. Dives at his opponent in a vain attempt to tackle 3 seconds after they have disposed of it.
4. His opponent delivers their 8th scoring assist.
5. Set shot at goal missing to the left.
6. Snap shot at goal not making rhe distance.
7. Kicks the ball along the ground
8. Has a possession-less final quarter
