This was you a week ago, yeah? ******* LOL.

In short:
  • Senor M couldn't even see the blatant mistakes in the fixture he so verily defended.
  • He then said that new ideas wouldn't get a look in as the committee was past this stage
  • He then cried
  • He then attempted to ridicule my proposal which included 2x 5-bye rounds
  • My fixture proposal then gets added to solve the errors which Senor M and his club failed to even see in the first place
  • He then cried some more
  • And here we are, Senor M again attacking my club's committee member with no basis or substance whatsoever.
I feel like this is worth another fixture related thread in all honesty.

Anyone find it as funny as I do, when they see Senor M , complaining (as usual) about somebody else complaining.

please reply to my post with a Gif - about me complaining about someone complaining about someone else complaining.

Hello esteemed contributors to the Sweet Football Association and ClarkeM,

We're two weeks into Season 35 and what an action-packed start it has been! Who says the league is dying and there is nothing to talk about?

I think I speak for all of us when I wish the beloved philreich a successful recovery, he's just had a colonoscopy over the weekend and early reports are that he is in good shape and should take the field this week.

Congratulations on Falconista on winning his tribunal case for the Gumbies and fighting for the rights of the most persecuted demography in all of SFA - Western Australians.

While I'm at it, I'd like to give a warm welcome to the rookies of Season 35: gouki88, RilesMacca, Membling, McRobie, kenneyswarriors, 4cunningTonneTruck, CountryLad, RonnieRaven, Dazjack, dudeintheswamp, SaintsSeptember, norway blue, sunny3193, cartwright, MayTheNorthBeWithU, Shueygod, Ge3ks, prpl_jss, Lbaddie29, Aucklander, and AJMLaird.

While you are here in the SFA, I hope to see you all completely lose your grip on reality and end up in the Hall of Fame.

Speaking of the Hall of Fame. A huge congratulations to spookism, sausageroll and Ant Bear on well-deserved inductions you are all giants of the game and have made a mark with your amazing contributions to this board and also Tarkyn_24 on your elevation to Immortal - the only player so far to kick 1000 goals, a truly worthy elevation.
... and then there's Headless. We seriously need to consider rebranding the 'Hall of Fame' to the 'Hall of Anybody' because Headless clearly shows that we'll let anybody in these days..

Anyway, the elephant in the room..

No, clubs will not be penalised for failing to report their posting statistics. Why? Because such a rule is redundant. No club will ever be penalised because all 13 clubs make firm commitments to keep their posting stats regularly. Since they already do so voluntarily there is no need to try and force anyone. It would be like threatening somebody with a penalty if they refuse to breathe while alive.

Given this is a form of light entertainment and not the board of directors for a fortune 500 company we should not strangle participants with nonsensical regulations that convolute the SFA experience.

Once again, it is another case where 👿❤️‍🔥REGULATIONS❤️‍🔥👿 are the problem and
🍰🧁😇DEREGULATION😇🧁🍰 is the solution!

I wonder what else will be getting deregulated going forward...

Have a lovely week friends!

Thank you most kindly. It has been a blast to date, a veritable whirlwind in fact.

Time passes so quickly in Baghdad, I can scarcely believe it is the beginning of July already!

Evening Qooty enthusiasts,

We are in fact quickly approaching the end of the second season of this flawless admin run. Season 35 has been a raging success with the vast majority of clubs sitting in a healthy, strong, stable position with an active core of posters. Most clubs are happy and the biggest complaint is that there isn't enough controversy. After 13 rounds, the league averaged 207 match thread posters per week compared to 197 per week after 13 rounds in Season 34 which clearly shows that the SFA continues to grow.

In more good news, the SFA has accumulated a large budget surplus since the start of Season 34. Mostly because of the Administration doing very little. Well now is the time to change that starting this week with Heritage Round.

Heritage Round
This week at SFA Park from Thursday to Saturday, 6 SFA Legends Matches will be played with each club's LG selecting some heroes from years gone by to represent their clubs on the field. The emphasis is on reconnecting with past players no longer actively involved in the league and inviting them to celebrate history that they played a role in building. This concept is so exciting that even notorious abstainers the West Coast Wonders have decided to participate!

The event will begin with a presentation of selected Heritage Round jumper designs picked out by the leadership groups and then proceed with the following matches:

Mount Buller Demons Legends vs West Coast Wonders Legends - Thursday, 11 MAY 2023
Gold City Royals Legends vs Coney Island Warriors Legends - Thursday, 11 MAY 2023
Las Vegas Bears Legends vs Dragons FFC Legends - Friday, 12 MAY 2023
East Side Phoenix Legends vs Baghdad Bombers Legends - Friday, 12 MAY 2023
Fighting Furies Legends vs Gumbies FFC Legends - Saturday, 13 MAY 2023

Sin City Swamprats Legends vs Roys FFC Legends - Saturday, 13 MAY 2023

Special thanks to TheInjuryFactory in helping out with reimagining the Heritage Jumper designs and Wosh and the sim posting team for preparing special commentary for the legends games.

And if that isn't enough to look forward to, Tigerturbulance has a special Heritage Round interview lined up Dual Mobbenfuhrer Medallist, EKA-winning premiership captain Wacky Tiger along with other giants of the SFA to be released this Sunday!

Round 17 Double-Header
In a boon for SFA TV rights deals, for the first time, four teams on one channel will be trialed. In Round 17 the two matches

East Side Phoenix vs Fighting Furies at The Eyrie
West Coast Wonders vs Ophidian Old Boys FFC at The Colosseum

Will be broadcast in the same match thread. Corporate sponsors have donated a fleet of helicopters to transport the crowd from one blockbuster matchup on the east coast of Sweet to the other on the west side of Sweet for absolutely free as we dip our toe into ClarkeM's futuristic utopian version of the SFA.

This is done much to the chagrin of JoshWoodenSpoon to whom I will say, Josh, win four premierships and get inducted into the Hall of Fame and maybe one day, you too can hope to be as influential as ClarkeM.

Thanks everyone, enjoy Heritage Round! :rainbow:

It would be better if we had all 6 matches in one thread but people are pussies
Well Clarke, you may be excited for the LEGENDS matches where all 6 games will be in ONE thread. 👍

Nah that just sounds like a waste of everyone’s time

What's better than spending an entire week with the West Coast Wonders? Spending an entire week with the West Coast Wonders, East Side Phoenix AND Fighting Furies. 🥳

I do appreciate what you've done here though.
We all know the Phoenix Furies thread won't surpass 5 pages, so what better way to hide such a shocking result than to jam it into a 50 pager and pretend it was a great success!
