It was good to see the coaches actually make some changes during the game. Ross on Ried was a good move and Kosi swapping for Simms as second ruck was good. I thought Simms was the better lead & mark forward option and he was getting monstered in the ruck. I hope the coaches make a few changes in the midfield next. We broke even with the worst and possibly the slowest midfield in the competition. If we don't have a plan for next week against the Pies it will get ugly. Maybe reward Rioli with a head-to-head role on Daicos. And please play Taranto in the forward midfield role like Dusty used to play. Our forward line looks so much better when he is in there.

Good win for the lads in the road and really happy to see a confidence boosting game for a couple of the fringe guys Sonz and Rioli. Reckon Faull is gonna be a pretty frightening forward in a couple of years. He goes so hard at it, with no hesitation to put the body on the line. Seeing him crunch Reid was epic. Can’t say our forward line is looking a whole lot worse without Lynch. Kozi is a bit of a duffa but he does get up and down the ground better than Lynch and competes ok when he needs to. Reckon he’ll grow in confidence over next couple of games and start making better decisions.

It's been against woeful opponents but it feels really nice to have back to back wins. I'm sure the kids are loving it and learning from it. Feels like as a supporter base we have more optimism than WC, Norf, Drugs, blooze, Mt Buller, saints and maybe Port. Good for us considering the predictions at the start of season.
