Rookie Draft

I really want Darcy Hourigan tomorrow.

We've got 3 developing 197cm+ power forwards now we need to find a Stewart Crameri style foil. Everything I've seen and heard about Hourigan makes me think of Crameri 3 years ago. He's the player we need.

I'd be happy enough with him. Battersby on talent alone would be good otherwise that Sully guy sounds ok as a taller KPD. Would like one more inside mid as I've said before but don't know who really. That Tsitas kid or Favaretto or someone? Any two out of those four and I'm smiling.

I think warren tredrea said he'd only go if it was for a spot on a senior list. Considering that there is strong word that GWS are only gonna be in the PSD it seems very unlikely.

Heard we have some interest in Louis Herbert, he's 188cm, quick and a ranga. Like a combo Harvey/Byrne-Jones.

If that's the word, he's another good pick-up.

He fits my desire for a big bodied midfielder 188/77. A 19 yo so more likely to be able to have an immediate impact.

Jeez love his highlights! Has a great kick, gets a fair bit of the ball (based on his TAC cup stats), good player defensively, kicks the odd goal. (and as you said is fast and tall)
I thought he pulled a Matt Crouch kick half way though the video but it went straight on the chest of his teammate.

I like this very much, a genuine KPF but i don't think it will happen.

Wilkinson is a horrid footballer, thats probably the reason. Great athlete, absolutely no feel for the game at all though.

That's probably what stood out in that game vs Gold Coast. His athleticism was great, shame about the skills though. I reckon he would be a pretty good player if he had some footy smarts.

I'd like Hourigan, or a centre square capable midfielder, but am ready for us to draft another 181cm 68kg back flanker.

best available big mid and then pick the scraps of what ruckmen are left. Unless 5 ruckmen go before our first pick.

1 ruck, 1 KPF, 1 KPD would be ideal. Rookie list should be for rolling the dice with low probability but high reward player types.
