Neither is PetracaMelbourne would be happy with that.
Baz isn't exactly a defensive beast at this stage of his career.
I think we are cooking and will win this elimination testI think we're cooked this week. The Saints game was poor preparation for this match. We had zero pressure put on us and we did what we liked for the duration. Melbourne played against a hungry and motivated side in front of a hostile crowd and they lost narrowly. That'll sting and they will be desperate to not lose two in a row. The Treloar loss is massive and with both he and Dunkley out I just don't think we can match the best sides in the midfield when they have the dominant ruck. I think this might be the second time this year that I'll tip against us. The first was the Richmond game.
NoAnyone else getting a Jenga feeling about our midfield? I understand the talk about great depth but if components keep getting taken out, collapse must follow. Hope Bev has a steady hand.

Why would other states wait until next week before shutting borders? They’ll respond as soon as they get new info.I would be very surprised if there were no games in Melbourne. Perhaps they'll be played behind closed doors, but there's no urgent need to move the location of the games or the times. I think next week will be the bigger problem is states start shutting their borders.
Yeah nahI expect a 5 day lockdown I think. No Games in Melbourne and some fixture adjustments like pies at Geelong and tigers in Adelaide. Leaving saints, norf, dees, & dogs with a bye this week instead of at their respective byes or maybe move both games to Ballarat if it's available.
Though I doubt the AFL will do that.
If (and it remains an if) they shut borders over the next few days, it's unlikely they'll open quickly. All of Carlton, Essendon and Hawthorn are flying out over the next 24 hours so shouldn't be an issue this week unless something is immediately imminent. Why would other states wait until next week before shutting borders? Yeah but he's far more damaging than Smith.Neither is Petraca
Bit of rain forecast on Friday too. Good thing Brad Scott isn't coaching. So AFL reporting will go ahead with crowds but with the roof open
Really? Let them rub their hands I’m not scared of Petracca Smith held his own last time we played themYeah but he's far more damaging than Smith.
I know if I was in the Melbourne coaching box and I saw Smith lining up on Petracca I'd be rubbing my hands with glee.

Also, just been announced there'll be crowds at the game this week (for now).
It’s supposed to ease so by game time should be ok, I just checked withJaneBunnBit of rain forecast on Friday too. Good thing Brad Scott isn't coaching.
F..k me you applying for a job at Tobin Bros
Why was this ever made an idea?! During a pandemic! Let’s make amateur top ups and reserves players travel around the country for a Mickey Mouse competition. Who is accountable for this in the AFL, what a mess!No interaction between AFL and VFL players for 7 days so VFL will be off this week.
