That's not pessimism, it's being realistic. This has Adelaide written all over it.
For those complaining about Pearce coming onto the extended interchange bench, who else was supposed to come in from the WAFL team? Pearce? Ibbotson? Every other young player is either in the squad already or injured (including Balic, who isn't even playing WAFL this week).

Can confirm that Ross is very much over Sutcliffes butchering of the ball. I think his days may be numbered. But then again, he was adamant about giving ballas the chop last year as well.

No Peel or freo games last week, yet somehow Nyhuis goes from emergency to nothing and Suban comes into the 25. Sutcliffe gets re named after one of the worse individual games I've seen this year, but realistically just another typical spud game from him. It took an injury to Griffin for them to finally give Darcy a chance. Said it many times, you're weak as piss Ross.
About time Fyfe was given a spell. Has been playing injured for a while. Anyone at the Collingwood game and looking at him off the ball could have seen how he was struggling.
Blicavs played the thug in Rd 1 and was trying to injure him at every opportunity, it's continued on each week, and rest assured Blicavs would have been at it again. Not sure what we can do about it, but Fyfe needs more protection or maybe just plays mainly at CHF.

Suban > Spurr, Sutcliffe and Sheridan.
Talk smack about him getting pinged for holding the ball, but I'd prefer that a million times over than spuds that kick it directly to the opposition in the back half, multiple times a game.

I can't remember if you have told us before what your link to Deluca is... but tell him no pressure to perform at Fyfe's level. Neale's level will be just fine for his debut game.

Agree with all of that Alfonz except the CHF bit.For periods within games certainly but not permanently.Maybe if we uncover another midfield beast but even injured he's too influential in the middle.
