When they played Hugh in the middle in the last quarter he really hunted the ball. Won't show in the stats but he did some clever blocks and tap ons to release the star players.

Carlton were awful and the umpires saved them from really being put to the sword.

Dante should have kicked 4 goals. Provided a good foil for Mitch.

Anyway good to win one and show some intensity again.

Dante looked a bit Lade like up there. If only he kicked like him.

He has got a touch of real class, the reason why he dies out of a game is they never give him a good run of games.

Spent a lot of time on the bench.

If those types of games happened regularly, the sport wouldn’t survive.

Jackson reads the game well and is a pretty smart footballer. So much better than Meadiocre. He’ll build a tank and hopefully put on some size in the pre season. 5 years on the list and he looks like a new recruit.

His disposal ranged from elite to terrible tonight. Love him as a player but was not as composed when playing forward.

Boak played pretty well, he can keep playing if he can do that every week. Jackson faded but was clearly better than what Mead has been offering up.

Visentini proved me wrong a little about playing 2 rucks, that was a solid KPF game that would have been excellent if he converted a couple of extra marks.

Jones was great, the Carlton player trying to remonstrate with him by shoving him and then immediately shitting himself was hilarious.

With the same half time lead, Geelong would have won my 140 points. We love putting the cue in the rack and sacrificing percentage.

Visintini was always the one who and more forward craft than Sweet. Why we tried to have Sweet forward and Vis in the ruck more previously I will never know.

I'm too disengaged to watch much these days, but whenever I did change channels for a quick look it was to see dropped marks, skill errors and poor decisions (by us)...yet we won by 50 points. Carlton must have been horrendous. The kind of win we have every season against struggling opposition who aren't good enough to punish our failings. Of interest only to see what the young players have to offer, some decent signs from a few of them.
