Umps pretty much roll over for any team opposing us!
If anything this will be a great game to watch as both teams try to move the ball quickly
I think our def is better than theirs but their forward line has more threats than ours
So much of this will be won between the arcs and the level of pressure each midfield exerts. We play a high intensity brand so if we don’t turn up we don’t look a threat

And such a vital game game for the makeup of the finals. Adelaide was the team that gave Kingsley his first ever win as an AFL coach, but frankly will be hard game for us in Adelaide
Since the final eight was introduced in 1994, only once before has the team in 15th spot been within two games of finals so late in the season.

For all the praise that’s been heaped on the Giants in recent (and rightfully so), expectations will now naturally rise with the club genuinely in the finals mix. That means continuing to win 50-50 games, like they’ve shown they can do throughout 2023. Well, Adam Kingsley’s side faces one of its biggest challenges yet in a tough away trip against Adelaide and good old fashioned eight-point game. If GWS, who’s currently well positioned in 10th placed on the ladder, is a genuine finals threat, it’ll need to bank the four points or risk sliding down into the middle pack. A win of this magnitude would not only do the world of good for this Giants side’s ever-growing confidence – that’s already clearly permeated throughout the group, it’d also earn serious respect from the footy world.

I would not be surprised if Wehr or Fahey was the sub - sticking to a fast, mobile gameplan. Cadman would definitely travel, though, just in case of a late out from the talls. Idun would have to step up to take a tall in defence - which he's done before, though not particularly well.

The tough inside midfielder was sent for scans late on Thursday evening after feeling tightness in his hamstring at main training, with those scans revealing a low-grade strain. Green, who is averaging 31.1 disposals a game in a career-best year, is expected to be sidelined for three weeks.
The 22-year-old’s withdrawal opens the door for promising wingman and local South Australian Jacob Wehr, who returns to the side to face the Crows following impressive form in the VFL. Conor Stone has also been added to the emergencies list.
