Would hope that the recent coaching changes have helped in this department.
Yes. I think the game style we've shown through preseason and against Fremantle stands up, even in this formative stage. The issue that continues as our bugbear is finding consistency over 4 quarters. It's a reason Zaharakis should be gone.

I could see that going very badly. Probably because the last time i saw Hurley play he was given a bath by a shorter, skinnier opponent who was playing his 1st game. Seeing as we cant have Ambrose on Heeney id try Redman.
Hurley is a liability 1 on 1 these days and his kicking/ decision making has had a massive regression.

Just looking at round 16 last year which we won by 10 points, Zaka had 22 and kicked 3.

Unfortunately it has been looking that way. Im hopeful it was just a bad start and he can bounce back with some decent footy this year. 1on1 was always his strength at his peak, the qtrback role has never suited him.
Francis and Ridley primed to be our 1/4 backs. I'll be happy if Hurley can continue to be the general down back and account for his man.

I’m confident I recall a lot of people calling for him to be dropped before that game.

Good chance of that. He'd only kicked 3 goals total for the 15 games before that. And he kicked no goals for the rest of the year and his possessions dropped off. Round 1 this year he had 17 disposals, no goals and 1 tackle. His start to 2018 was huge before that Nankervas tackle broke his collarbone. Since then the good games are sprinkled amongst some pretty average games, with another sprinkling of poor games.

Sydney home game, I don't think their supporters have even been upset when playing us.

Toey as a Roman sandal for this one. No confidence in our ability to get a result but I’ve been starved of footy so long I watched Melbourne Carlton and even some of the Brisbane Dockers game. Frothing at the gash

Are we able to pick Mitch Hibberd? Forgive my lack of knowledge of the rookie list.
Would have thought we’d pull the trigger on him asap given our historical weakness over the ball.

Yes.

Yeah, I'd like to see him as well. We are all accustomed to the Woosha pecking order of team selection though - and it will be hard to crack into the team with no VFL games to prove yourself.
