Chol is doing everything we can ask of him basically being the only genuine key forward. Gunners is a 3rd tall. I can only Imagine how much better they both could play with Dear down there very soon. Gunners will get the 3rd best defender and if he doesn't Dear will and he will cause real headaches.

I've said this multiple times already but for $500k a year The Chols Royce is close to best value key forward in the AFL right now.

He had an absolute blinder tonight, his hands were superb.

Two good games in a row now for Maboir, if he gets up against the Tiges next weekend that's three in a row and he's on a serious roll.

Thought Morrison had a good game despite a few howlers. That passage on the flank where he got 2 or three touches and laced out Hardwick or McDonald in front of goal was pretty awesome.

Funny how many people still call for Morrison to be dropped or made sub every week, while I genuinely believe he's in our top handful of players based off the first 8 rounds this season.

Loved seeing Chol getting reward for effort too.

A very unconvincing win, but I've been negative enough about the footy club as a whole for two weeks now, so I'll leave it there.

Morrison has been pretty good the last few weeks, especially compared to others that have had their colours lowered.

I think most expect he will be overtaken by more talented players at some point, which (IMO) will happen eventually. But there's no chance he gets dropped after the last few weeks.

Not really - he got quite a few cheap possessions in the last quarter as the eagles tired. Up until then he was pretty underwhelming again in the midfield which was carried by Newcombe, Worpel and McKenzie

HH played a pretty solid game for 24 possessions

Thought his last quarter was really good. His game improved as it went along

We could have been up by 10 goals at quarter time. We weren’t.

The Eagles tried but we still were able to wear them down despite the poor finishing.

Annoyed that we didn’t cash in on percentage but we bank the four points to be positive.

Disappointed Sam moved him to the backline in the last, but I guess there was nobody else.

It's a pretty simple formula: Unhappiness = Expectations - Reality

I think some people here are just trying to reconcile their expectations of a 100 point win versus the actual result.

Personally I don't understand it myself, we did what we had to do. Execute a little better early on and we'd all be ****-a-hoop.

For me the biggest positive out of the game (other than the result) was Weddle. I thought his contested marking aroudn the grounds was enormous. Closely followed by Chol and Gunston's game up forward, Morrison's courage, Frenchie's game and Ward's fourth quarter.

He's putting together a sneaky good year is Harry.

What I like about Harry is that he puts his body on the line every time.

He just needs to tighten up his disposal a little which is usually one of his strong points TBH.

Just finished watching it. A win is a win but that one was a little disappointing I felt.

We say this yet they only kicked 11 goals from nearly 50 entries. I'm happy with that as long as offensively we are putting a good score on the board.

The top sides with better ball users score 15-18 goals from 50 entries.

We need to improve our full ground defensive method.

One other thing I forgot to put under my positives is I think having The Wiz play some midfield minutes is something worth pursuing.

He is so quick and so evasive it adds an extra dimension (just like when we used to throw Cyril in the middle). That run down the wing where he took three bounces was brilliant and led to a goal.

He also seems to have a pretty decent tank as he covers some serious kms watching him live.

Did what we had to do to win the match.

Clearly we’re not in the best form however if we can grind out wins in the next two games we will be 7-2 which is a great base to build from.

The Hardwick forward experiment I feel will be over soon (Most likely when Calsher returns) Feel he is too slow and isn’t providing a marking option. Will be needed down back next week anyway.

Of all the games of footy I've seen...that was one of them.

Not quiet all of one for me, switched over to the Blues putting the Cats to the sword. Made me feel better, save some money on therapy. Back to sharpening my knives.
