in 2004, I'm unsure of the finals setup so need to know who minor premiers were, looks like it was Dockers who were minor premiers.

If that's the case, then Furies continue a long tradition of no minor premier has ever won a grand final

Absolutely gutted But proud of my team mates for being able to take part in our first ever grand final.....As they say you have to lose won to win one....Which means we are a lock in for the flag next season

Onwards and upwards next season Gumbies, We need to make sure we remain near the top and im sure that we will.

Congratulation Furies - Winning the premiership from 4th is a fantastic effort in itself and i always knew you would give every club a run for their money come finals time and you certainly did plus some.

Firstly, congratulations Furies, you came out and made the cup yours in the last quarter. Top effort.

Good year by us Gumbies, but to go throughout the season dominating only to fall at the final hurdle does hurt the most. I suppose that's something we can use to spur us on next season.

Not at all. 2005 Sweet FA Grand Final was a draw, was replayed the next week with the home team reversed. That was the Furies first win, had to come back after drawing the Swampies first time around.
