Round 5 sees the return of Rivalry Round, celebrating some of the most intense rivalries in the history of the Sweet FA. From the Foundation Cup clubs the Demons and the Wonders, through to the recent antipathy between the Bombers and the Hawks, the tribalism of the SFA clubs has bred and nurtured some ferocious rivalries.

The two most recent additions to the league in S18, the Warriors and the Bears clashed in round one of that season, and it was a thriller, the Warriors saluting by just 3 points when a Papa Juggs led comeback ran out of time

First meeting: S18 R1 22/6/14 Coney Island Warriors 14.7 (91) def Las Vegas Bears 13.10 (88) @ Van Cortlandt Park

The only finals meeting between these clubs was a massive anticlimax, the Warriors hammering the bears in the S22 Qualifying final; however, the Bears recovered from this to go on and win the Premiership, and they retain bragging rights for the ultimate prize. The Warriors have no premierships to show for their 11 seasons in the league, and have only made one Grand Final, in S19
