What a twit. Glad no one was hurt.

Just so there is absolutely no confusion, I'm obviously referring to that twit Shaw here.

Has Didak "How's your hearing now,********" been confirmed as passanger yet?

Add to that, causing me further DT pain  - lock him up!

He's got to play. Why would a club suspend a very important player from playing in what looms as a must win game for your team.

Too many 'leadership groups' doing things for the consumption of the public and the media. Colllingwoos should fine him, let the law deal with him and move on.
That appears to be what they have done.

No, no he has not been confirmed as the passenger, and to say that he was the passenger without any evidence is poor form and stupid.

very good stuff squizzy and SS. In all seriousness, huge game. We were a joke yesterday, we have to lift big time to win this one.

I wasn't saying it, I was asking if it was confirmed. We've all heard the company line spin - "This is not spin???" OMFG! Deflection! Deflection! Deflection! The way the whole thing has been handled by your mob is just gutless! Weak! At least there's no deterent for you people so it'll just keep happening.

... poor form & stupid :eek::eek: hahahahahahaa HA! Now THAT is funny!!!!!!

I don't see how its funny, but apparently you have an odd sence of humour. So you think (no saying that you did it) that to accuse someone of something without any proof isn't stupid? And you think that its fine? Righto, so if I were to say to you that a Saint was in the car with him, what would you think about that? I have no proof, but it suits me to say it....

Why do so many supporters of clubs head onto other club boards and feel like they have an opinion that they have to share.

Jump onto the Collingwood board you clown. To be honest, we dont give a cracker for your opinion here.

To be honest it would be stupid from Collingwood's perspective to suspend him from a huge match that will decide their september fate especially considereing how vital he is to that team. Not saying it's the right thing though, they should of made an example of him.

For us it is definatly our biggest game under Lyon. It will be a huge test on all levels, no doubting we will be coming up against a Collingwood side with rockets up their arses. This is huge, absolutley need to win this and prove we can turn it on against the better clubs. The crap we dished up the last two weeks has been atrocious and simply won't cut it.

If I wanted to quibble, I'd say the Hawks game was bigger, but we're talking a matter of fine degrees here. Totally right with the main thrust of what you're saying here Benchy. I'm HOPING that the crap was just because it was those two teams - which still stinks, but still, means they might actually be pretty good this week.

Maybe I missed something (I usually don't care too much about what footballers do or not do off the field), but what's the problem with the passenger ?

I thought that it was just Shaw driving under the influence - as far as I am aware, it is not illegal to be a drunk passenger (in fact, I thought it is actually encouraged not to drive when over the limit) - all right, a good mate would not allow a drunk person to drive, but the fact that he chose to be a passenger in that car, indicates that he may not have had the sober mind required to come to reasonable decisions anymore...

If you have a problem with anything I have said then report me to your mods. I don't believe I have broken any rules.

There isn't a problem with the passenger, the problem is more the fact that if there was one then he ran. Considering the checkered history of Didak it would be a fairly big deal if he was in the car (even if it isn't a big deal it will be made into one). In my original two replies I answered a question and I gave information on what the club had done with Shaw. The club has said that there was no other player with Shaw when the incident occured (Didak was with him earlier, if i'm wrong and Didak was in the car i'll certainly be pissed off anyway) and I didn't want the wrong story to be told. After what happened last year with rumour and innuendo I didn't want it to happen again.

Won't cut it? We'll lose by 200 points to Collingwood if we dish up that shit. If we're not switched on against this side, it'll be an embarrassment. Collingwood haven't been bad for past 3 weeks. 2 things have stopped them from winning, pace and Buddy. We have neither. This'll be a very tough game to win for us, we have a one paced midfield like they do, their back line will do allright against us. O'Brien is a good match up for Roo he can go with him, Wakelin for Kosi, he'll do allright as well. Cloke will be tough to shut down without Max.

This is huge game for the club, to show we're not just a talented a side of chokers. Come on Saints, do it for your great man and your faithful.

I wouldn't be so sure, Blake ate him for breakfast last time, I'd trust him to do it again. But shouldn't Max Factor be back in this week? I certainly hope so.

My thoughts on ins and outs at this early stage:
In: Birss Armitage/(Hudghton)
Out: Ball (Hamstring) Geary (omit - not quite there yet unfortunately)

If Hudghton isn't ready then I'd hope we bring in Armo (2nd BOG for Casey) and play Big Fish on that bloke with the ridiculous shaved head (John Anthony). Birss must come in, was exceptional on Shaw last time.

I still think Gwilt and Fiora should be dropped. They've only had one good game, doesn't mean they get their spot. Geary had a shocker yesterday but give him some time, he was killing the 2's.

 Did Gwilty bully you as a kid by any chance? :p

That was the 2nd best game he has ever played, and included a game saving smother, you can't drop blokes after efforts like that. He was better than all but 3-5 of our players. Same goes for Fizzer but to a lesser extent, his two goals and good ball use won us the match, no way he'll get dropped. Geary earned his call up but I don't think he's quite ready for the big time yet, needs more times in the twos. If Gwilt or Fiora put in the same performance as Gears did you'd want them burnt at the stake.

You're not the first to level that one at me bubs. I found it funny that you're accusing someone asking a question about a detail of a broadly discussed topic of poor form & stupid - when the act being discussed was the epitome of poor form & stupidity. Going by your response you're acting like it's not that far a stretch between the 2 actions. Odd sence indeed!

Exhibit B.

You're tying yourself in a knot here, do you need some time? Accuse someone? Another stretch. Didak was drinking with Shaw, more likely someone drinking with him in the car than some random person, especially seeing as though he lives nearby. And he has form - riding in cars with drunk boys.

They'll keep their spot in the side for sure, but i dont think we're heading in the right direction with these guys in the team. Look we'll see after Saturday whether i'm a muppet or i really do what im talking about.

Very contradictory there buddy.

I went to the Hawks v Pies game on Friday night and they were very ordinary.

I doubt any Collingwood side could smash someone by 200 points.

If Hudghton plays, I'd put him on Medhurst.

Blake smashed Cloke last time and can do it again.

Riewoldt to be near unstoppable on the open spaces of the G.
