Stephens is done in Sydney. Sorry, I don't make the rules. The King! does.
Warner Jr., Amartey & Wicks in
Sheldrick (inj.), Lloyd (inj.), Hickey (omitted) and Francis (sub) out
TEAM: Wicks, Amartey, Warner return
Sydney Swans coach John Longmire has confirmed three changes with Sam Wicks, Corey Warner, and Joel Amartey returning for our match against Western Bulldogs on Thursday night.www.sydneyswans.com.au

Are you 100% sure?
Interesting going in without a number 1 ruck
Corey's been decent at reserves level too. I'd imagine he's in to allow someone else to play mids or half back some of the time.Wow Corey ahead of him as well.

Yeah he's gone IMO.If he's not sub out of those 4, my god.

We have the same number.Good. It’s a night game we need LESS talls not more
Or he pushes Campbell/JMac to half back a bit to cover for Lloyd and we just play Heeney or Paps more in the mids.Yeah he's gone IMO.
I'm guessing Warner Jr. will play on the wing and Gulden will move back to the inside. Because Horse bemoaned our lack of inside mids and that was before we lost another one in Sheldrick, yet he hasn't brought one in.
Having a ruck is sorted of needed though.Good. It’s a night game we need LESS talls not more
We have the same number.

Were we outrun last year? KPP as sub, sure, that's mad, but we've deviated from our 3 KPFs + ruck format only a few times due to injury over the last few years. And that’s why we contribute to be out run…and watch the coach put Francis as the sub lol
We might be a chance. The listed team is messed up. They have got Gulden listed twice and Chad Warner listed.

It becomes a wasted spot though if said ruckman isn't offering anything. Hickey is a player who can basically only play one position, and not even very effectively at all these days. That's a liability for the team to carry. At least between the others they can contribute in other areas while also allowing for more flexibility within the team.Having a ruck is sorted of needed though.
