Can't see ANB leaving either. Got drafted with mates and seems passionate about the club. They're just holding him back and while he seems ready now he'll be a better player for it. Will explode next season

Bulldogs do that a lot as well, play a kid for a few games then maybe 10 games of vfl to work on his game.

I'm watching how Melbourne is managing ANB and I compare it to how the Swans managed Tom Mitchell for the first few years. He was regularly getting 40+ possessions in the NEAFL (including one game of 64) and they still wouldn't promote him. Yes, arguably they had a much better midfield that we have had, but it did mean that Mitchell was rock solid when he did get into the firsts.

Yeah great example, it's what good teams can do. Hopefully he saw from his brief AFL taste mid season that such strong VFL form doesn't automatically translate to AFL level, and is happy to earn his spot and continue to work to keep it.

He is likely drilling full time at dees to get ready for next years pre season

Casey came out and played their game style which meant they were 100 touches up at half time
Geelong attacked the contest early in the thrd and shellshock scorps whch then a lot of players went back into their selfish shells which costed the game.
Took many turn overs from d 50 which gave cats 9 inside 50 to 6 goals from it.

Casey got box hill next week and need a big win and footscray to win against pies to hold onto minor premier

He won't be playing Finals this year unless Collingwood ask AFL Victoria to allow him to play.
