In the actual ruck? No. He did well and truly beat him around the ground though in their last meeting which is rare, so kudos to Kruezer for that one.Kruezer smashed him

Huh? Ryder was one of Port's best whilst Grundy had an average game. Strange commentGrundy rarely gets truly beaten in the ruck, so I'm not sure why you're talking about him that way. He basically broke even with Ryder on Saturday in the middle and killed him around the ground.
Put your glasses on. Grundy had nearly double the amount of disposals that Ryder did in addition to 8 marks (5 contested) and more tackles. Even the commentators after the game were saying that Grundy had the better of him for the whole game outside the first quarter in the middle of their gushing over his milestone game. And Ryder wasn't named in Ports bests either, so I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion.Huh? Ryder was one of Port's best whilst Grundy had an average game. Strange comment
God you have your Collingwood coloured glasses on, Ryder clearly was the better of the twoPut your glasses on. By not being colour blind.Put your glasses on. Grundy had nearly double the amount of disposals that Ryder did in addition to 8 marks (5 contested) and more tackles. Cool story.By not being colour blind.

Couldn't care less about fantasy points, I don't make judgements base on them. I thought Grundy was fantastic around the ground on the weekend, 5 contested marks is huge and exactly what you want from a ruckman, and certainly not 'empty stats'.Collingwood had the top 7 players in AFL ranking fantasy points despite a 5 goal loss. Collingwood play an extremely possession bases game, ton of players put up empty stats and Grundy is one of them.
Heck I'm reading the Collingwood board MVP votes thread and several are asking why Grundy is getting fan votes noting that Ryder shaded him.
Stupid comment.I get that the only time you've watched a St Kilda game is when poor little captain cuck got teased by big bad jake so I'll let you off lightly here.
Jake is a very, very good player and should make the 40 man squad quite easily.

Just some of the quotes from the Collingwood autopsy thread:Grundy got more hit outs?
Grundy struggled today, as I reckon he did against Essendon. Does he have problems with a wet, heavy track? Didn't have his usually mobility.
Got an education from Kruezer who always seems to play well against us. Doubt it is anything to do with the wet.
Has been doing this for a few weeks. WTF is he thinking. Also got towelled in the ruck.
Grundy looks to have plateaued.
Or just plain overworked.
Mate Kruezer just beat him fair and square. It happens.
Grundy is young and has some improvement in his game still despite his good start to the season.
His directional tap work needs a lot of work to become more effective and harder to read from the opposition.
He needs a bit more strength which will come, Kreuzer out bodied him constantly today.
Kruezer is the AA ruck thus far, been very good this year.
Billy Longer must be up for discussion. Averages 35 hit outs to disadvantage, .1 kicks and 0.0006 marks per game.
Did you watch the game? He got 1 more hitout... pfft. Smashed him all day. Casboult held his own too. Grundy is a good young player but kruez beat him hands down that day.Grundy got more hit outs?
Kruezer won the battle, but all Blues fans seem to preach is that he "smashed" Grundy when actually he really didn't, Grundy was nearly as good in the ruck.Just some of the quotes from the Collingwood autopsy thread:
If I can recall correctly, I believe Casboult started in the ruck first and did quite a bit of ruckwork throughout. Kreuzer got 9 coaches votes that game.
This was definitely a game that Grundy got smashed
