dont read it then!!!!!!! this forum is for commenting on football not my grammer. if you have a constructive thing to say about the allignment say it if not keep your comments to yourself cheers!!!

Your backlash disappoints me. All I a saying is that it is bloody hard reading what you have written.

It is like putting a roast dinner into a blender and then trying to seperate the potatoes from the meat from the veg.

On the alignment I think it is rubbish. Living across the road from Windy Hill may give me some bias towards the reserves having all their home games theren :D

i think you might be a bit biased but i understand it i'd be the same
i think alot of people miss the games on windy hill and dont see the allignment as a good thing because of it, they play most games in melb so go watch em play then and when they do play the 2or3 games at windy go watch the bendigo players love playing there as they are gr8 facilities.
onfield essendon have there way which is the way it should be. the allignment is there to devolp players, i think bomber supporters have to think outside the fact that they dont play on windy hill. its there to develop players the essendon/bendigo is probably the strongest of all clubs, its like they have there own team, while they promote the club indirectly in bendigo and surrounding areas, especially when they draft someone like lovett-murray, i would be surprised if they extend the contract pass 2009

Given Knights will be picking the Bendigo coach personally and attending 70% of the Bendigo games do you really think that the players wont be used in positions that Matty wants them ?
We have always had complete control in this area and will continue to do so simply becasue part of the alignment agreement says we pick the coach and control the onfield issues.

As far as Bendigo being a dump how so ? Bendigo is a great place. What exactly makes it such a dump?

Bendigo is one of the best places in Victoria and QEO is one of the best grounds in the VFL. QEO has $400000 worth of lights, meaning you get the odd night match up there, which is the sort of experience that may prove to be invaluable.

Most people on here would not recall the old Bendigo Diggers - I do. Couldn't win a game for 2 years. Come the alignment - that changes.

Exactly , i think they only won about 5 games in a 4 year period at one stage.

And that's just it though ant.

Yourself, myself and a few others who go to the Bendigo matches regularly no matter where they are, know the full story and are truly supportive of the concept.

Sure, it would be great seeing more games at Windy Hill and IIRC, the games balance between Bendigo and Essendon will be a lot better - certainly given the increased numbers of clubs in the VFL next year.

But, for people to say the alignment just flatly isn't working, doesn't understand the core issues of the alignment and how it works.

I am actually quite keen to see how the Knights game plan at Bendigo gets implemented next year with the senior side. If this year was anything at all to go by, Essendon fans may not actually realise how good it could be.

In the mean time, I hope Bendigo have themselves a great new coach, whoever it is.

I was almost happy not to hear our theme song. TBH the side was seen as a joke and the crowds were very small. Still remember being totally gutted after that draw against Murray.
