PIEMAN RESULTS RD 11 v Melbourne

We created plenty of opportunities but our forward 50 entries were poor and our accuracy was just as bad. Only eight goals and 5 goalkickers so no 20-point bonuses tonight.

Only five contenders this week. Caleb Daniel kicked his second goal of the year to be the PPotW.

Not much movement on the leaderboard for PPotY. Bruce extended his lead slightly.

There were 9 carryover teams this week and three required subs. They were:

VL30J: Naughton sub for Treloar, Bruce sub for Scott​

VL30J clearly did best out of that lot.

The KELVIN

The one outstanding score tonight was from the cryptic SayerTheCreator (124) whose perseverance with Caleb Daniel paid dividends with this week's Kelvin. A couple of Chillis and inscrutable mythic dogs certainly kicked things along. The maximum possible score was 186 (3 x Caleb, 2 x Tim English) so that was a pretty decent effort. His was the only score over 100 but Wocka did very well with 93 points having also loaded up on Cody and Timmy. It tailed away pretty quickly after that, ScottyDogg (75) being the best of them. At the bottom of the weekly chart there were 7 bagels ... and a doughnut.



The PIEMAN

Low scoring matches often mean that not much changes on the leaderboard but that wasn't the case this week. The leader coming in was Boyd oh Boyd but he failed to score this week and was overtaken by Wocka who becomes our new leader. That's strong form from Wocka who was the runner-up last year.

Curly5 just snuck past Boyd oh Boyd as well and retains second spot overall. SayerTheCreator moved up sharply to take 4th spot with his big score this week. dogwatch rounds out the group of only five that have cracked the 1000 points so far. There's a gap of over 60 points then to 6th.

Oh whoops nothing major, besides a minor argument I was really talking about losing the game and getting 0 in the pieman
