Roast The Point of No Return

Wines by far away the least skilful player to ever captain PAFC in 150 years and will probably be know as the worst ever captain in PAFCs history.

Let's calm down, he's played like 5 games in the role.

So both Captains have been s**t. Let’s face it.

Wines has had two good games and his first two games really showed the need for him to come back via the twos.

Jonas has been average too but much harder to criticise due to the structure he brings to the backline.

But beyond Boak, how have Rockliff, Dixon, Hartlett, Ebert and Westhoff been as leaders?

Boak - A+ on field performance.
Ebert - b solid.
Rockliff - C half good, half shot

The others have been crap. So much for a leadership group.

Well our coaches have pretty well said they have no issue with it, so ...

And that’s the killer.

When the coach and the co-captain are essentially telling the supporters and other critics of his folly to get stuffed, you can safely draw a line through this mob having the hunger and desire required to be successful.

Both co-captains. Jonas posted a pic of himself downhill skiing (lol) with something akin to “get a life” as a chaser.

But at least we drove Wingard out of town for playing video games he was just here for the joke and the prestige and all the other scat that’s on that poster Michael Wilson must’ve taken home when he retired.

Cassisi did OK as captain. The only one. You honestly think Boak did OK as captain?

Boak was a good captain and player, form really reflected the successes and struggles of the side.

I’ve always wondered if Ollie was the kind of player who always dreamed of being captain but would perhaps get bogged down with the role. Perhaps not able to rise above the success and failure of the side, and it will wear him down.

Boak's been a great Captain, out longest serving Captain i believe.

Two AAs in his first 2 years, a guy that always sparked his side when he needed. Yesterday, Boak would have kicked the two goals wines could have, not hand-balled to the opposition.

The only smear on Boak's captaincy is when Hinkley nearly ruined him wasting two of his prime years across half forward.

Wines ****** himself over with the skiing incident. Not only was it a bad look, he’s now carrying a bung shoulder for the season. Whatever ability he had to hit a target with a handball is gone.

His own worst enemy for 2019.

Wines the Rockliff of 2018 re carrying a bung shoulder into the season.
