Ive never understood the fascination with selfies, Its pretty annoying especially the young girls that selfie in the ******* tub, brushing hair, pouting like 300 times a day. Its like, hey guess what, i just went to macchu picchu here is the proof.Ive no problem with group selfies in general.

Someone had one of these at the NYE party I was at. It is pretty smart how the thing is remote controlled, always wondered how they actually took a photo.

Spent most of the day at the beach on Saturday and I noticed a group of young kids with a "selfie stick" running up and down the beach filming themselves. Was kind of weird because I am pretty sure they didn't even go in the water or any other beach type stuff. Its like they went to the beach to film themselves at the beach ??? It was all a little weird to me
Its more about the concept of having to prove you were somewhere, as if you need to tell everyone how amazing your life is. Tripods are primarily used for landscape and time based photography.
Case in point. Selfies, especially selfie sticks are for w***ers.
