You realize most don't actually follow the trade or draft period.

Nah there's thousands of people ready to turn their back on the club they've been loyal to for years because we might have to push 2 guys out the door. Remember we're the biggest jokes in the league (just ignore 3 finals series in a row and a grand final appearance). Eddie is a disaster for the club (5 grand final appearances in what 20 years?) and despite nothing actually having happened yet, people should definitely be fired, or perhaps even jailed!

Im prepared to accept the excuse on Grundy, but even at his best he’s too expensive and the years too many. Should have been 5.

Instead of the required 3 selections including rookie upgrades, they can now make only 1 selection including rookie upgrades. This is likely due to the late notice of the reduction in list sizes.

Clubs will be permitted to select JUST one player in December’s National Draft, down from three.

The rule change was communicated to clubs on Thursday, foxfooty.com.au understands.

It relates to expected list cuts, which are due to be made official in the coming days.

Clubs will also be allowed to take in more draft picks than they have list spots as well this year.

In previous years, AFL clubs were capped on the amount of selections they could take into the draft, based on available list spots.
