Unbelievable isn’t it?The American government system is an absolute joke
It's been corrupted beyond recognition. It lasted a long time on the faith that there wouldn't be so many undemocratic and morally bankrupt PoS who would through the gentlemen's agreements, ethics, morals and norms out the window. The American government system is an absolute joke
It is amazing how such a small minority weld so much power a lot of the time. Not just in America, though they are one of the main examples. The American government system is an absolute joke
The House often gets those more extreme types. The QGOP all come from ultra-right districts with rusted on tribal voters going back forever. Voters are addicted to media and those zingers and sound bites sway too many.It is amazing how such a small minority weld so much power a lot of the time. Not just in American, though they are one of the main examples.
The conservative base, particularly the far right who are themselves a minority within their own. Yet they are still able to influence the balance of power, legislation, and make laws that go against what the majority of what Americans are actually for. Example, the topic of abortion, gun laws, universal healthcare and gay marriage.
People wonder why stuff never gets done, because most of the time its about political point scoring, and blocking everything you can for four years, and then accusing the opposite party of getting nothing done ever. When you yourself was the source of it all. All you have to do is slip a few of your own into the supreme courts all over the country, and stop your opponent having the majority in any particular house. And have majority influence in the media (amazing how the right wing have the majority of print and visual media in their favor world wide, yet accuse the media of leftie bias). Then the law and constitution gets thrown out the door, and they are able to pass whatever they want based on outdated values and their religious beliefs against what the majority of voters stand for.
The vote for speaker, it is no surprise that things came to this. In no sensible country, should such a small group from the SAME party, hold a massive influence of the rest of it. I mean FFS, over 200 voted in favour of McCarty the whole time, and he won more votes than his closest rival each time. Yet 14 times it was declared no result. The likes of Boebert, Gaetz, MTG should not even be in their positions. Makes me question what the F the voters in their areas were thinking to vote for such controversial, unfit people to hold a position of power? Yanks are a special breed in the head.
Hakeem Jeffries gave a terrific speech.

The republicans are a party for themselves, the rich, and big businesses, not the average American. It is amazing how their own base rabidly lick their boots.

You know the system is broken when the minority rules most of the time.
Case on point for how quickly the MAGAts turn on their own: Marj is now part of the cabal too.
They are very unhappy about this.

Is trump part of it too? Considering he’s backing McCarthy?
FYI one of the electrical substations was damaged by guys wanting to do a robbery, obviously it didn't work because they got nabbed. Like the end of Scooby-doo- 'I would have got away with it if it wasn't for the darn battery backup'.They haven't gotten quite that far, but even among the hardcore supporters the magic is wearing off. There's a lot of frustration that they seem to be the ones 'getting owned' and God-Emperor isn't offering them any solutions (see also: muh voter fraud, Jan 6 'political prisoners,' and this McCarthy thing)
They'll still vote for him, but once that fails again, I'm not sure what they do. They all think DeSantis is now handpicked by the RINOs/Uniparty; some will fall in line with him given enough trans/race bashing. But others seem completely terrified about the state of the country and seem the types to go shoot up electrical substations.
Chappy/ stokeys likes this

Says a lot about politicians when ~50% of people are booing this
Yes! My thoughts exactly!
“The Exterminating Republicans”?
