Round 2 of the VFL season sees the pies travel out to the south east to play Casey (Melbourne's VFL aligned side) at Casey Fields, just outside of Cranbourne.
Casey Scorpions vs Collingwood.
Sunday 18th April.
Casey Fields.
2.00PM.
Collingwood;
B: Reed, N.Brown, Rounds
HB: Buckley, Reid, Goldsack
C: Blight, O'Bree, Barham
HF: Hunter, Dawes, Corrie
F: Blair, Rusling, Anthony
Foll: Wood, Cook, McCarthy
Int: (from): Carter, Sundeberg, Young, Liston, McNamara, Rinaldi, Colbert, Frost.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Notables are obviously Cameron Wood back from injury for his first run of the year in the VFL, and Rusling actually named up forward.
Still no Captain Kris Pendlebury, which is a mystery in itself, but a very strong side indeed.
Casey have a few Melbourne players running around, such as Miller, Cheny, Johnson, Bennell, Martin and Jack Watts.
I will wait and see what the conditions are like to figure out whether I go and watch, as if it is wet, Casey Fields is in the middle of nowhere and has very little undercover seating. (For those who went last year you know what I mean
