On Fox Footy's White Line Fever last night, Tony Shaw and Mark Harvey were reviewing the performance of the clubs so far, including a best and a worst player and a player to keep and a player to trade.

Shaw plumped for Matthew Clarke as our worst player (a tad stiff I would have thought), but this was quickly rebutted by an Adelaide fan off the SMS who stated that our worst player this season has been Ian Perrie.

I was gobsmacked, considering that big Pezza has kicked as many goals as Matthew Pavlich this season (21), has presented well and generally takes the opposition's best defender as a rule.

We know he's not Wayne Carey, but what the hell is this text messaging nuff-nuff thinking? Perrie our worst in season 2005?!

Own up... was it you?

I heard that too DT, and had a good chuckle wondering if it was one of the anti-Perrie brigade from this board. :D

I doubt that we'll ever really know.

I'm with you though - it defies logic to say that Perrie has been our worst. Shaw's nomination of Clarke was equally ridiculous seeing that injury and oppotunity have restricted him to 1 game.

Tony Shaw

You can't tell me that people are willing to pay for his opinions.

He may have played one of the worst games this year (against Brisbane I think) when he and Bock were spilling marks everywhere but both have come good since.

Never take the glove off again Ian.

I heard that too, thought it was a bit rough.
'Craig' on the SMS texted it.
I was happy that I struggled to think of our 'worst' player in the ad break before they announced it.
Did you fox viewers catch 'The Gospel' last Friday night?
fair bit of Tredrea bashing........

Well it wasn’t me I wouldn’t waste a phone call on Tony “ god Collingwood are good but sacked me” Shaw and I too was flabbergasted when I herd that.

Ian Perrie has been good this season and Iam very happy with how is value has increased to the Fremantle Dockers and he has contributed to the sides success

Best: Simon Goodwin or Mark Ricciuto
Worst: Mathew Bode or Mathew Clark
Keep: Rhett Biglands
Delist: Michael Doughty

I don't have Foxtel, so wasn't me. Wasn't here any way.

I have also been one to rate Perrie when used properly, so much so that my bet with a Port supporter that we would make the finals with Perrie playing in our forward line is looking good.

Why delist Dogga when he has been a regular member of the side?

I would have thought there would be plenty of others in the delist category ahead of him.

Wasnt me either, Pay TV technology hasnt even reach the land of Tassie yet :p

TV is that bad here that unless you have a digital set top box, Neighbours is about 3 weeks behind and Amazing Race 7 has only just started

TV is very strange in Tasmania.

Heard footsteps and dropped it

again!

He pounded his fist into the turf in frustration, whilst 40,000 of the crowd sent off SMS messages to Fox Footy declaring Perrie to be the Crows worst player this season.

Not me.

I'm no Perrie (or Skipworth) fan & the sooner we replace them with better players the happier I'll be. But I don't have foxtel & even if I did I wouldn't waste a SMS on Tony Shaw.

I'm hard pressed to pick worse players for the year. All have stood up at some stage or another.
