I'm not being biased here, but Calsher had some of the better contested marking highlights from the draft. Some of the blokes they touted as strong contested marks barely had one in their highlight reels.

This is why playing in the ruck is such a good developmental tool for young key forwards. Getting used to one-on-one contests is tough, and players who have good positioning and leap make good key forwards.

Agree.
Dear and L. Morris looked the best contested marks in their clips IMO.

Dear is a great size, moves really well, excellent hands, and is a huge contested mark.
There is a lot to like about him.
I can see him pushing for a spot in a couple of seasons.
