History
What can I say about these special moments with the Bullies? They are just so nice to us! There’s a few moments that will give them nightmares.
1997 Preliminary Final
The soul crushing moment when Tony Liberatore’s kick was a point which would of sealed the game , then minutes later Darren “ The Magician” Jarman slotted the goal to get the Crows infront.
The Western Bulldogs did have another opportunity to take the lead again in the dying minutes. However the decision not to shepherd his teammate 2 meters away from goal was proven costly.
1998 Preliminary Final
I can’t really be bothered describing this day for the bulldogs in words
2015 Elimination Final
Not going to lie, I actually thought we were in trouble when the Bulldogs kicked the early goals. However the players stepped up and that play to put us infront from the Captain running on the wing and that kick to Charlie Cameron was mint!

Brodie Smith vs Lachie Hunter
Another player who has immensely improved is Lachie Hunter. Last season you'd think he was a depth player , now he's slowly becoming an A grader in the Doggies midfield. He's ranked #1 in uncontested disposals , #2 in total disposals and #1 effective disposals.
Brodie Smith is lethal with the ball and his and carry is vital for setting up our attack. Brodie is #9 in total rebound 50's, #8 in total bounces and averages 23 disposals per game.
Dale Morris vs Eddie Betts
Betts is one of the best small forwards in the game. Eddie just doesn't hurt on the scoreboard , he dishes out assists and gives out defensive pressure. Eddie so far in 2016 averages 3.3 goals and 3.8 tackles a game. Dale Morris is very underrated among the AFL community , he does his job week in week out . He will have to be on his game on Saturday otherwise he's going to be in for a long night.
Kyle Hartigan vs Jake Stringer
It's amazing what 12 months can make for players. Hartigan wasn't confident and made some dreadful mistakes , now he's looking very solid down back whilst making a vital partnership with Talia. In terms with Stringer even though he's been underwhelming so far this season. He's absolute quality and he can hurt you in a space of minutes. I'm hoping that Hartigan doesn't give him any light of day , if we successfully do this it'll go along way.
