Opinion What’s one thing you hope players have worked on.

1/ Grundy's hit outs and connection to the mids. Far fewer taps to his feet. Signs were good in Rd 1
2/ Cox to keep his eyes on the ball when attempting his marks and not dropping his head at the time of impact. More marks would stick
3/ Set shot kicking practice, while fatigued, for our forwards. They don't practice much while fatigued at training.

Pretty much nailed it.

1. Grundy connecting with his mids. Saw some really promising progress in round 1.
2. Cox holding his marks. If he can take them with arms outstretched, he is unstoppable.
3. Phillips somehow to improve composure. Panics when about to get physical contact and either fumbles or gets rid of it poorly by hand and puts pressure on teammates.

As long as the fun out there isn't just getting drunk and playing cards against humanity.
well

Some players need to work on road rules.

Not Cal Brown, he's a good lad. He's a favourite of mine, and I hope that he has worked on the finishing skills which will add some class to his toiling.
