He thought it was a out of comp test... Panicked as he thought he would test positive for Cannabis and be suspended from finals series.

This is a game day test so strikes don’t come into it. It’s a prohibited substance under the WADA code on game day

Cannaboids are a banned in competition substance, which is where this sample came from (after the Essendon final).
This means it comes under ASADA poluicy rather than the AFL's illicit drug code.
