Highly enjoyed the match for what it was. But with everything we saw in terms of Seth spamming finishers and the kickouts, Bray simply had to win.

Even if he won and didn’t even take the title/was unaware of it would have been acceptable.

They booked themselves into this. They want Rollins as champ but didn't want Bray to lose. So, what can you do....... A WWE DQ finish, thats what.

Anything other than a Bray win would have ended sour with the crowd. You could tell that during the match. But I don't think Bray needs the belt to be the number 1 star.
