Rumour Yarran to Hawthorn

Hope we play him forward to be honest, with stints in the midfield. The benefit for us, our big weakness is when Houli is tagged our run drys up, now we have a option to switch with Yarran.

I think he can be a bit of a swing man to be honest.
He is generally a good shot at goal and when hitting up targets inside 50 its usually pinpoint so I can see your point there.

We have two small forwards we have been developing from last years crop in Butler and Short, we also have Mcbean who could be anything or could be a bust. IMO I would not be suprised that last forward spot is left for a resting mid, something like

HF- Yarran Vickery Edwards
F- Deledio Riewoldt Martin/Cotchin - both those boys rotating considering the reduced rotations and no sub rule

Burgoyne one of the best utilities of the modern era..

The only one you can really compare him to in terms of dominance is Michael Jordan. Any other comparison is selling him short.

Tough enough finding room for Buddy, Hodge and Mitchell. Its always easy to gloss over players we dont remember, but the Hawks had some deadset champions of the game.

Only easy spot would be replacing Salmon on the bench as the backup ruckman - but we've never had top ruckmen (sorry Don).

I wonder if Hawthorn hinting about Yarran will be enough to get Richmond sweetening their offer (was spoken about weeks ago, then nothing until it popped up again today).

Saints didnt have pick 5 on the table until we made a cheeky bid for Carlisle.
