Atkins the sub
Johnston plays third tall defence as a last chance at AFL level. LT isn't up to it so we have to go through the rest and see who is.
Laird replaces Henderson on the half-back flank
S. Thompson replaces Douglas so he can find form in the SANFL
Kerridge replaces Wright as a half-forward, potentially tagging
Rutten to man up on North's big talls and replace Shaw, who should never be seen again

Would have also liked to drop Jenkins but McKernan is a downgrade.
M. Crouch is unlucky, but I don't want to drop Grigg or Lyons just yet. Especially want Grigg to get a full game.

Pods should be ok to ruck a bit in the fwd line but do you reckon sauce can take every centre bounce. I don't like 3 genuine tall fwds, but surely we need a back up of some description for sauce.

Everyone else was terrible. I heard them praising Sloane on 5aa. He was woeful and got schooled by Ellis. Danger is paying the price for our moronic decision to get him to play through injury. Having no impact now. Spent.

Jenkins 1 mark, Pods 2 marks. Both giving nothing. Douglas was back to Old Douglas. Falling down, stuffing up and barking instructions. I stuck by Hendo during the week... he was pitiful. The normally reliable Luke Brown was comedic. Was he wearing ballet slippers out there? Mackay was gunning for worst on ground honours until he got injured. Shaw and LT did their prospects no favours. Martin regressed after a promising month.

Wright is working hard but is sooooooo slow. Not just by foot. He takes his kicks in slow motion, waits around, eventually goes back far enough off the mark to kick it, takes some more time, changes his mind once or twice, then does a short pass. Some players create run, he creates stagnant. Brodie Smith was invisible.

Our forward line is a mess. Our stoppage work is hurried and random, plus we place no pressure on them when we lose a clearance.

Laird got a lot of cheap unaccountable touches in the back half and often chipped sideways (should only come in for Brown or Jaensch but neither deserve to be dropped).
